Port Charles... not the best city to live in

Sorry for not posting Friday guys! I was uber sick and I had to work Sat so there just was no time... If it makes you feel any better Friday wasn't that great. If anything it just showed us how the institutions of Port Charles have failed it's residents. Allow me to explain.
How the Port Charles PD has failed its residents

Scowling at the poor form of the PCPD
Let's ignore the stellar close case record of the PCPD under Anna Devane (All onscreen cases are still OPEN). First we will focus on the station itself - where college students and teenagers help people break out all the time without any trouble. Friday wasn't any better when Dante and Britt finally had a plan that was working and we're going to entrap Olbrect and get Ben back, but at the PCPD anyone can just barge into an interrogation room and RUIN EVERYTHING. No one is guarding the door? No one is on the other side of the double pained glass to stop it? Maybe members of the 12th precinct can come over and show the PCPD at thing or too about how to run the place.
The detectives themselves aren't helping the cause any either. Detective West turns of his phone when he is dealing with stuff, and has only really focused on one case - WHICH IS NOT IN THE PCPD JURISDICTION. Hell, he is working the Nakamura murder WHICH HAPPENED IN NYC! If he wasn't so hot he would totally be fired already don't you think?

How the Port Charles educational system has failed its residents

There are so many things happening right now that could easily by solved by thinking things through. But apparently that is not the way the youths of Port Charles were taught. Michael is a smart kid but he can't figure out why AJ would be at Ava's place? Kiki still believes her mother's lies? Lulu think barging in to the interrogation room would be a good plan? Etc etc etc. I just can't handle it. It is making for really good TV and yet a frustrated viewer/blogger.

How General Hospital is failing the people of Port Charles

Lately I can't help but wonder how many doctors work at GH. Patrick is really the only one who could do the AJ surgery? Sure, he's a neurosurgeon but does GH only have one? Also when Monica called for a crash cart  at the end of Friday's episode they hadn't come and it had been at least 1 min. after the alarms went off. That's just really horrible response time. Also why couldn't Monica start some life saving procedures in the mean time? Was she not once the chief of staff? and for goodness sake can someone please buy some FREAKING SECURITY CAMERAS? How many secret conversations do people have to have in the hallways? How many times is Ava going to "sneak" in to AJ's room and almost kill him? SERIOUSLY.

Honestly the only institution not failing the population? Whatever institution is in charge of child care. Where have all the children been? Is Spencer just taking this whole Britt thing really well? Cam and Aiden conveniently "at school" when Olbrecht comes by? Is Aiden even old enough for school?

Suffice it to say that all my TV, including GH (mostly Once Upon a Time) left me thoroughly depressed this week. So thanks TV writers... excuse me while I go wallow.

PREVIEWS:

Sonny starts to suspect Ava (but not for the murder of Connie #smh), Sam hatches a plan, West tells his mom maybe they’ve been wrong all along, Tracy confronts Kiki (that’s gonna end well), Julian meets with Fluke (Fake Luke) (which also means he’s not with Alexis - boooo), Nicolas talks through a door instead of calling Liz’s cell to see if she’s home, and the doctors finally arrive for AJ. So many clips, Monday promises to be action packed. But still no #Julexis so WHATEVER.

NOT SO LIVE TWEETS

  • Nicolas looks extremely Russian sitting in that old chair playing with his ring
  • If anyone thinks it’s so weird that Ava is seeing AJ why doesn’t anyone you know, stop her from going there….
  • Olivia, now is not the time to pick this fight.
  • Sonny has come so far, he didn’t even break anything.
  • Oh Monica, you’re just asking for it saying shit like that. Sonny cares about Michael more than ANYTHING
  • Wow i have never seen such an overacted walk #Lulu
  • Oh come on now, if you have Olbrecht hold Liz hostage I am going to feel bad…
  • The kids that neither of us actually spend time with!
  • Come on kids, you can do this. Use that PCU education! PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER!
  • Listen Aj, the truth is great and all, but this is the one time you lying could’ve come in handy. Next time someone asks, say “ava”
  • Ooo once this storyline wraps up I say that West and Silas solve crimes together. Since Silas was a cop in another life (Jon)
  • Sorry Monica, but you are not the Chief or on the board any more, I’m not even sure you are still a Dr. there... you can’t kick people out of the hospital.
  • YES, AVA. THANK YOU.
  • Wait, I’m sorry. Did Lulu used to be a cop or something?
  • HOW DID SONNY NOT HEAR THAT???
  • Come on come on come on come on tell her before your contract expires!!!
  • You have an idea to close up this story line? THANK GOD. #ninasMurder

And as a farewell treat to make up for not posting on Friday!
