Fluke predictions and other #GH mind benders - caused by a pre-empted @generalhospital in LA/OC today 6/9/14

I said it before and I'll say it again. Watching live on Fridays makes the +General Hospital weekend so long! With the +Los Angeles Dodgers having an early game (gotta love the east coast trips), I was able to fit in all my addictions today and still have time to blog before the day was over! But not so fast said the universe as live breaking news cancelled out #GH today in LA/OC.... 

Real People. Real News. Cops who hang out less at the local diner. 

          Sooooo instead I decided it would a good day to write about our Fluke predictions. Oh and to notate that I am calling it right now - Rafe ( +Jimmy Deshler ) will be revealed as the driver and cause of the #Pabrina crash. It's sad but +ABC Television Network  released this week's trailer and at the beginning there is a shot of Sam and Rafe before showing the already known suspects (Fluke, Ava, Jules, etc). Why show Rafe if not to #FORESHADOW? He has nothing to do with those characters, and so I am saying this is the first step in laying the ground work. Poor lil' #THUGLIFE. Maybe all the family drama (Silas is never home, he's forced to babysit ALL THE TIME), the Molly drama, and then the accident (a total fluke) led him to need to get away from everything and turn to the drugs. And thanks to Fluke drugs are now easily accessible in PC. 

        Anyhow - on to the main story for today

Don't lie - who I am has really got you stumped doesn't it?

When we're not discussing how awkward Nina is, or how the coffee isn't working on me at the office +Janel Clemmons and I have conversations that wander to General Hospital on a regular basis. These conversations have ranged from the freaky family trees (Do you remember who Aiden's father is? Ya neither did I) to the #mindexplosion that is the youth of Port Charles's ACTUAL ages, and how that would affect storylines (Morgan was born in 2003, Cameron in 2004!!! ) Lately, of course, many of our conversations have been dwelling on the true identity of Fluke. We have a front runner for our predictions (down at the bottom) but we have definitley thrown a lot of names out there. Sure some of them are ludicrous (we'll let you decide who those guesses are) but some of them have a lot of meat behind them.  

SUSPECTS:

Anthony Zachhara

Why it would work - he hates Sonny (a lot), Mob Boss, doesn't have an issue dealing drugs, has a past with Tracy, already left Luke to die once

Why it wouldn't work - He's "Dead" , too mentally unstable to pull off such a well thought out crime, also... dead

Stavaros Cassadine

Why is he dressed up like Houdini??

Why it would work - Hates Luke, probably not a fan of the Quatermaines, financial capital to back Julian, probably wouldn't be attracted to Tracy (loves Blondes, duh), would have connections to WSB records through Viktor

Why it wouldn't work - Again "Dead" - but that has really never stopped him before, doesn't really have a beef with Sonny

Faison 

Young Faison had way better hair

Why it would Work - Hates Luke, bat-shit crazy enough to do anything like this, access to Miscavitch and crazy henchman, financial capital from who knows where, might have WSB record access due to you know.. being a criminal

Why It wouldn't work - the whole dead thing (honestly you can't rule these people out because #HISTORY), doesn't really have Sonny beef, would interefere with his whole "Duke/Faux Duke" timeline (not that timelines are firm structures in the GH world)

Heather Webber 

Fucking loves dress up

Why it would work - Miscavitch access, also has a weird amount of financial capital without a job (art revenue?), not a fan of Luke, probably not a fan of Sonny.... not really a fan of anyone for that matter, loves to play dress up, seems to have lots of random information stored for random interjections in storylines. Also she hasn't been on screen in like 2 months, and I think Robin  Mattson's contract says she has to be on at least 2 times a year... because if not we talked about BLTs for like 2 months for NO REASON. 

Why it wouldn't work - She's female so she'd have to do a REALLY good job of playing dress up, would probably be more concerned with Franco and Carly, the timelines don't match up, also no real beef with Sonny

Trevor Lansing 

Why it would work - HATES SONNY, mob connections, lots of money via Zaccharas, probably not a fan of Luke, might be mad at Ric for not hating Sonny anymore...

Why it wouldn't work - dead, would have to have thrown his son under the bus

Ric Lansing 

We were confused too Ric, it happens to the best of us

Ok we don't really think it's him anymore... but we entertained the idea during the whole "shakey cam" fiasco

Bill Eckert

 

Why it would work - Already looks like Luke, might have beef with Luke after dying in his arms, worked (inadvertantly at first) for a cartel run by Faison and other bad guys including Ned's father Larry Ashton, hates Anna, hates the Quatermaines, has a son names Sly who's maybe secret identity would give a reason for the Levi character (for which there is none), OH AND CO-OWNER OF BARRETT INDUSTRIES

Why it wouldn't work - that whole pesky "dead' thing again, only a possible beef with Sonny (Killed by Frank Smith's men - maybe Sonny?)

Damien Smith

Ok so we got this BRILLIANT idea from Soap Central , but THINK ABOUT IT

Why it would work - Hates Sonny and Luke (history, drama, etc), mob connections (pop was Frank Smith), history with Quatermaines (was friends with Ned, tried to scam ELQ), completely evil (wanted to build a mall where an orphanage was), and THROWBACK - that's totally the trend in PC right now and he would totally fit right in!

Why it wouldn't work - "dead"
