The women in this town have WAY more self control than I would #GH recap 09/9/14

Another fine day of +General Hospital programming, another blog post. The end of summer story wraps keep chugging along, but I wonder if it's just a tease and we're going to get crap the rest of the week.... at least there is a Julexis tease for tomorrow. That's just going to have to get me through whatever filler stories spring up. Plus we're back on track villain wise. Cassadines - the gift that keeps on giving. Now if only we can get the supreme baddie back....

No redeeming qualities, no over the top crazy - just pure evil with too much money

Hmmm Do I believe this kid.. I mean he lies a lot...

First on the story block was Spencer's info spill. We got a recap of the events that led up to Fluke's threat, and of course Patrick didn't want to believe the kid. However, Sam is awesome and she knows that Fluke has been acting weird so it kind of makes sense. I am frustrated that this means they probably won't be on the right track (Nina) for awhile, especially since when Sam asked Patrick what he meant to tell her earlier he was like - ya that's super not important now..... Argh. I guess if it results in being more suspicious of Fluke I can get behind that. Do you think Sam will give Sonny the heads up about the situation? Or perhaps now Spence will talk to Uncle Sonny? It's been a while since they bonded, and even longer since they used the boxing set - maybe they could squeeze a lesson in?

Speaking of Uncle Sonny, that man with a baby in his arms? That's just not fair! I mean, yes, he's flawed. Yes, he's been to cocky lately and it makes him less attractive.. but this? Washes that all away, for me anyway. Anyhow, he's at the loft because Olivia is too stressed and exhausted dealing with Lulu and now Dante being missing to be a good babysitter, so he's being a good grandpa and taking care of Rocco. Carly drops by to see Olivia, because apparently they're bffs again.... I guess. However, the site of a hot mob boss with a cute baby in his arms stops her dead in her tracks. Rather than recreate the same scene we've been getting over and over again the last few weeks, Carly actually has a little bit of resolve and Sonny is a little less cocky. I am still so torn on this. Whenever there are a lot of Franco scenes where he isn't super clingy I am back on #TeamFranco. However, when Sonny acts more humble and is sweet I can't help but lean towards #TeamSonny. He and Carly just have so much history... and 2 sons.... OH! And then there was a bomb drop as to who would raise Ava's baby once she's "taken care of".... If that wasn't ground work for them to raise that child together..... I have a feeling Mikey finding out about Sonny/AJ will be the deciding factor there. What about you guys?

Nina has crazy eyes, but Stavaros has CRAZY FACE

Of course we all know the real action was centered around PC Heat episode 6. So many characters are now involved in this spinoff it's almost hard to keep track. Recently added to the mix? STAVAROS!!! He's back from the deep freeze to be SUPER CREEPY with Lulu again. The ice man is on a mission - procreate with Lulu. Her and Dante are having NONE of that noise. Lulu even spits in his face, it was pretty great. Then, because this is now a Cassadine storyline, the bomb dropped. Mr. Freeze stole one of her eggs and fertilized it with his... dna. GR--OSS. Now there is a frozen embryo with their DNA as a result. Kids, I hope this lil' embryo is never defrosted. Not just because that would drag this storyline out longer, but because that kid would have some disturbing parentage. His mother would be his older brother's sister..... yup. that. NOPE. VETO. Does anyone know how long Stavaros will be staying with us? I truly love Cassadine villains who don't look like burnt toast...

Viktor doesn't have time for Levi's whining - he's got reading to do

Speaking of human toast - Viktor is kicking it in his office stressing about DNA tests when Peter storms in wanting revenge on Dante.... which is weird, I figured he'd want revenge on Nathan first... but ok sure. Anyhow, he gets super whiney and Viktor has to remind him he kind of BLEW THE WHOLE OP, and shouldn't be begging for things. Besides, Viktor has like REAL LIFE PROBLEMS what with a maybe son, a defrosted brother, a kidnapped doctor, and a defrosting mob enforcer.... Wow poor guy, maybe he needs a vacation. Evil doing is such hard work. At this point he is doing so much evil overtime he could totally qualify for the Evil League of Evil.... 

Don't look so smug Anna, you'll probably fail at this quest...

Viktor better get in some vacation time in now thought because Anna, Dr. O, Nik and Britt are going to try to save the day. After some attempting to hold out on Anna for some info on what actually happened to Faison (don't worry he's prob not actually dead), Dr. O's regret and worry for Nate wins over and she tells the gang that Viktor is the director of the WSB and is pretty sure that he has the kidnap-pees. The most interesting part of this whole sequence was when it was Britt with the reasoning that won Olbrecht over. That's how you know Nik and Britt are meant for each other, they both have crazy parents (remember Laura=50% crazy) and yet have managed to remain relatively normal human beings.

Lastly we spent some romantical time Naxie. He admits his feelings for her, and spends most of the episode why he fell for her, and how great she is etc. Maxie proves to have way more self control than I do, as despite all his admissions she refrains from just making out with him right away. No, our little Maxie has matured. She acknowledges all the ways he is amazing, and hints at her feelings too, but she was just duped by Levi Peter, and she needs to spend some time figuring stuff out before she jumps into admitting feelings for anyone. Way to be strong Maxie, you go ahead and do you. Should we all start taking bets on how quickly that resolve fades? I say by next week. Any takers?
