Sadness with a side of Daddy Julian!!!

    In the upcoming weeks there is so much goodness to come. I have see the light... or rather the preview which we included at the end of today's blog. Of course before happiness and joy can return, we have to deal with at least another few days of abject sadness. Although as a sign of better times to come we did get at least a little happiness today!

    Well it happened guys. 13 days since we posted our Open Letter to Sean, and the death we all knew was coming took place. The doctors came in too late, and couldn't revive him. Michael was distraught, Monica was broken, and Carly now has the key information to bear. Although let's be honest, unless Sonny does something super horrible in the next few days, she isn't going to tell Michael the truth. It would break him. I am hoping that she starts to look in to Ava though. She's too smart to let AJ's comment about Ava go right? I believe the writers will do what's best. After the trip down memory lane with Sonny talking about how Michael was the only son he really "raised" they wouldn't dare break more hearts.  (RIGHT?!)
    In other tales of depression Nicolas has gone to apologize to Lulu, but alas Olbrecht is still there. He pleads and apologizes enough for her to let him in once she knows Olbrect is out of sight, and I thought for sure Ben would cry and the jig would be up. But it was Frauline Doctor herself who almost let the cat out of the bag! But, Nicolas went to PCU, so hid deduction skills aren't that grand and he thinks Ric has stayed the night and is hiding. Oh, if only that were true. The fake wind blew outside as Nicolas said goodbye and Liz was berated by Olbrecht. Gosh, I can't help but feel bad for Liz now. Good thing I know her next story line will probably bring order back and have me dislike her again, or at least I assume. 
   Bridging the gap from depressed to semi depressed our rag tag team of crime fighters hatch a plan to trap Ava. HOORAY! They're going to lie and say that Nakamura is still a threat to Ava so she will show her true horrible colors and finally get arrested for at least one of her many crimes (scroll down on the link). Detective Hot Stuff James West runs into Mommy dearest at the station where they decide to pow wow in the super not secret interrogation room. Apparently no one sent them the memo that lately people have just been barging in there when secret things are happening, oh well. She goes a little Norma Bates crazy after he tries to tell her that he doesn't think Silas did it. She of course doesn't agree but he pleads her to see maybe it was Ava, and that he and the other two gumshoes have hatched a plan. Well West I sure hope she's not really a bad guy because way to screw the pooch on that one if she is....
  Finally (I will not discuss Kiki/Tracy/Luke storyline, because ew) we got our dose of happiness in the form of father daughter bonding! There was a little Silas/Kiki bonding as they ran into each other at the hospital chapel. It was really sweet. They hugged, my eyes misted, it was great. Of course we all know the best Daddy in town right now is JULIAN. That's right kids, JULIAN. After turning down some legit drugs from Fluke, as well as saying he is not game to sell them, Sam shows up to ask poppa a favor. He owes her of course, and if there is any hope of having a Julexis happy family in the future he has to win over his eldest. Sam asks Julian to lie to Ava, nothing he hasn't already done of course, and tell her that Nakamura is alive setting the plan in motion. He is of course adorable and tells her that he'll do anything for her. Because he is awesome and he loves her and at least one story line is going in the right direction! yayyyyyyyy
