Remember when all the good stuff would go down on a Friday, and the ending was so killer you screamed at your TV because you had to wait til Monday? Ya today’s not so much… Don’t get me wrong, today wasn’t horrible. I think the writers have finally returned from vacation, but it wasn’t cliffhanger good. There was no adorable princeling today, but there was some minor story progression. OH! There was also 36 minutes before Detective West put on his shirt. It was a grand 36 minutes.

PROGRESSIONS:
Silas is back to work after returning from NY when lo and behold Nina’s mother shows up! She’s Blonde and WASP-y looking, so that doesn’t really help the theory I will reveal in the tweets below, but… Anyhow she hates him, and he hates her and it was a delightfully hateful time had by all. She doesn’t believe he didn’t know about the money and wants him to sign over his rights to the money to prove it. He believes they are hiding Nina, and refuses to sign the papers. So you know, wins all around.

Sam goes to see man candy Detective West and tell him to lay off Silas. I am not sure what they were talking about because he was so beautiful, but after about 36 minutes he put on his shirt and the conversation had apparently progressed to the point that he accidentally tipped his hand and forgot to be surprised when Sam told him that Nina wasn’t at the facility. She is on to you now Hot Stuff! Now, go and take your shirt back off so we can continue to objectify you. #sorrynotsorry
Back at Kelly’s - Which, by the way, does Sonny own Kelly’s now? I feel like he walks in the back all the time, and Shawn has a pretty loose schedule…. anyhow- Sonny talks to Shawn about how this is a no win situation for him. At the same time he has additional remorse in regards to the shooting because right before he pulled the trigger AJ was swearing that he didn’t kill Connie and feels like he had more to say. Right before he can put the pieces together and think about who else might have killed Connie, Shawn works really hard to convince Sonny that he should stop thinking. Because knowledge isn’t power…. UGH.
Over at GH Luke gets creepy again, and we find out it might be a result of something that happened at Miscavtich. Who runs that place, and WHAT DID THEY DO? New Mysteries! Kiki tells Morgan about Luke’s creepiness and Morgan confronts “Mr. Spencer” (DUDE YOU ARE RELATED) and things are about to get heated when Tracy walks over and stops that conversation from happening.
Over in Patrick’s office, Monica drops the bomb that Michael is Aj’s power of attorney so the poor kid has one more problem to add to his overstuffed problem plate. Will he pick the invasive surgery or the minor surgery? Both might cause AJ to die, but hey NBD. Monica (who apparently isn’t capable of making any Dr-like decisions) and Michael (poor kid) leave and Patrick sees a picture of Robin and is of course depressed. She is the worst.
