What did you miss you say? Well.. It was an interesting mix of “interesting and entertaining” and “oh, were still doing this?”
Interesting and Entertaining- Julian is in custody and reaches out to Alexis to be his lawyer. Things get get semi steamy (looks only no action) and then Alexis recommends that Ric be his lawyer (she can’t conflict of interest and what not). Well that’s gonna get awkward…. Bank roller as your lawyer? Wait, no one still thinks that’s a secret right?
- Michael arrives at the hospital in time to see AJ flat line. But Dr. No name and Felix bring him back just in time and he is rushed to surgery. Morgan let’s it slip that he doesn't think it was Sonny - which BTW wasn't even on Michael’s brain so thanks for that Morgan… Hopefully Mikey thinks its Ava because I really can’t stand to see the Michael/Sonny relationship take a hit (more on that below).
- Carly arrives at the hospital in Friday’s episode, her and Sonny have their classic “I know you better than you know you conversation” and by the end Carly has already figured out that he shot AJ. Damn she’s good. Maybe she should be the commissioner.
- The worst commissioner ever continues her streak of bad police work but questioning Morgan and getting nowhere. She questions Julian and of course thinks Sonny has something to do with it. See you guys? She is super smart. This case will be solved in no time… #NOPEZ
- Molly and Alexis fight, Molly is a brat. Later TJ comes over. Oh and Molly does the things I predicted she would do and decides to move in with Ric. Which is a bomb Ric drops on Alexis after she begs him to take Julian’s case. What a d-bag
- Things with Sean - honestly, when I first started watching again I liked Sean but not so much. He can’t really help Sonny with an alibi because he was making BLT’s and everyone in town saw him, because no one eats anywhere else…
- Duke is called in to be the alibi producer for Sonny so that means he is going to fight with Anna. #brokenrecord
- Elizabeth semi bonds with Ric and then is by AJ’s side. I’m sure if Nicolas was in this episode she’d be all over him too. UGH.
Random ?'s and WTF moments
- Seriously what is going on with Luke? He’s being a grade A ass hole and in the preview flirts with Kiki. EW. BLECH! Also, how awkward was that to film?
- Where has the royal family been? Can they come back now? I miss the lil’ prince
- Ok so we have Carly but no Franco and Alexis and Julian but no shagging seriously….
- There was no Julian in tomorrow’s preview. That is NOT ok.
Serious Reflections
Guys, can we stop for a moment and address what the writer’s are possibly going to do with this whole Michael and Sonny thing? If Michael finds out that Sonny had even a little bit to do with this shooting his whole world stands to be shattered. Not because of violence etc, he’s dealt with all that- but because Sonny will have broken a promise to him. Maurice did some killer acting on Thursday describing how losing Michael would be worse than any jail sentence. It almost made me cry. It made me reflect on all the great Sonny and Michael moments over the years. I remember there was an episode when Michael was little (still early in the Dylan Cash years) and Max or one of the guards takes him to go get ice cream and when he comes home Sonny asks him if he remembered to get his change and say thank you like he taught him. It was so sweet. Sonny has always been his DAD and i just can’t … don’t want to see that be marred by this plot. But I know it will and I’m just not ready for that….
