It was 24 epis before we got 5 minutes of #Julexis , but something is better than nothing - #GH recap 09/10/14

This episode is just what I needed to fully feel the GH blogging mojo. It had almost everything I could ask for. But hey 5 out of 6 storylines ain't bad. Besides, there was not only 2 seconds of #Julexis, but there was #PapaJulian!!! I spent most of the episode swooning after one thing or another. POINTS to the writers on this one. Also have you noticed as the summer storylines wrap up the demise of Fluke will affect so many couples and families across town? I CANNOT WAIT. Then they can get back to other drama because this Fluke thing is STRESSFUL.

We start out being reminded that TJ is still an active character, not just a face on the opening credits. TJ has started PCU (we are so proud) and has come to Kelly's bearing PCU swag gifts for those he loves. For the record +General Hospital , I might buy PCU clothing if it was for charity - or you know to raise money for more Julexis scenes. Anyhow, there's a bunch of pointless banter before we get to some actual plot. TJ wants to know who Shawn's mystery lady is. Trust me kid, you don't. Ignorance is bliss remember? He continues to pry until Shawn comes clean that his lady is none other than Jordan, resident "bad" "drug running" mother. TJ is not thrilled, because REASONS. After asking about ethics, morals, etc TJ kind of rolls with it. I feel bad for the kid. He would be over the moon if he knew that Jordan was on the up and up, and he continues to be in the dark on the whole "Shawn killed his dad" thing. Although to be honest, TJ's life has been relatively drama free lately compared to the other townspeople - so he should count his blessings.

Speaking of TJ's mom, Jordan has decided to visit Ava to do a little "gift giving". I actually watched all these scenes you guys! Anyhow, Knowing the future child is destined to have a dangerous and dramatic life the gift is some sort of protection charm.. or something. TJ had one, and hey he didn't get shot in the firefight back at the warehouse so it works I guess. I can only assume this is actually a DEA mission of some sort, like perhaps the thing has a bug on it of some sort? Even if there is no bug, it's gotta be for a mission because she continues her favorite game "fish for info about Fluke". Ava attempts to drop the knowledge on Jordan RE: Fluke being the ultimate family destroyer. Jordan wants to know more, and Ava continues to explain that Jordan staying away from Fluke is not to keep her from being important in the business but keeping her family safe, because once Fluke gets a hold of you, he has hold of the fate of your family. Jordan wants to take down Fluke on behalf of the Jerome family, because everyone is living in fear - which hey, let her. However any further planning is put on hold when something Ava doubles over in pain! You know I have mixed feelings about Ava, and that the paternity storyline is gross, but I hope baby girl Jerinothos is ok! Although this will prevent anyone from having to intentionally harm the baby....

Meanwhile unaware of the possible baby drama, brother Julian is dropping by the penthouse to see his family. I was silly for getting my hopes up, thinking that this would be pure Julexis, a dream which was crushed early in the episode. But hey, it's been entirely too long since we saw Papa Julian, which is my 2nd favorite thing. The new Danny is adorable by the way, and he seems to posses the power of basic speech. So, as much as I miss the old twins, if this kid can say "grandpa" than we SORAS'd him on purpose right? Julian's arrival initially gets under Alexis' skin because she thinks he is there to win her back. Well... he's not there to do that directly, but who wouldn't melt into a puddle seeing him play with Danny? He asks her to stay, and she plays that her resolve is strong and she leaves. Jules plays adorably with Danny while also confiding in the tyke about his grandma and Aunt Molly. Julian is steal dealing with guilt about Ric, but what's a guy to do when he is trying to get out of the mob only to be threaten by a very scary Fluke? He's about to spill more to his pint sized confidante when Molly comes home early. She is none to happy to see him in her temp home. She proceeds to go toe to toe with Jules, and I have to give the teen props. She's got moxie. It was a scene full of a lot of feels, because you can tell that Julian wants to make this right, he does not like causing Molly heartache, but he is in a difficult situation. Before he caves to the powers of yet another Davis woman, Alexis comes back home. She again tells Julian it's over, she even has a date (see below)! I cried a little inside but I know that there's hope thanks to NLG

NOLIVA should definitely be a thing

Outside of Kelly's we take a brief pit stop with Ned and Olivia who are enjoying a nice distraction lunch of BLTs. Well... he's enjoying it, she's still just stressing out because half of her family is missing. If I was eating lunch with Ned I would be plenty distracted and totally getting down on my BLT . Ned can see that she doesn't have her head in the game, but all he wants for her is to eat a little so she doesn't waste away waiting to get news about Dante. It's all a very sweet exchange, and I really hope these two can make it happen... but.... well...

...you see Alexis drops by (her case was cancelled or something). They play catch up and Alexis fishes for info on whether or not Nolvia is actually a thing.... which we were all wondering anyway. She figures if they're not actually dating (they're not {boo}) then mayhaps Ned wants to go out. He can see this is a rebound thing from a mile away and reminds her of their checkered past (ah, back when they were one of my GH OTPs). He's ok with being a distraction, and I am already nervous about this. Ok, yes Jules will be jealous and it will motivate him to take down Fluke and win back his lady, but what about Olivia? What has she done wrong here? Be distracted by actual life?? Don't do it Ned stay single, even if only for appearances until Olivia is done with her drama so doesn't have anything else ADDED to it. SMH. Ned, to nice for his own good. 

His face tho...

On the latest (and possibly last for this week) episode of PC Heat we get some action from both of our "couples". Stavros is still droning on and on about the secret embryo when Lulu and Dante keep reminding him of all the reasons this will not work. Apparently his creepiness has done the research and knows that medical  history has been recently altered and it's at least partially possible for them to procreate (again, GROSS). He gets all angry and what not when they keep trying to argue with him, but eventually they (kind of) get the upper hand. News flash ice man, the surrogate has to be prepped for implatation, and you only get one shot - so it's not something to rush into. Not wanting to lose the opportunity to procreate with his son's sister (gross x3) he scatters away to verify and prep. Don't worry Dante and Lulu you'll get out of this because a) not gonna let any more gross parenting happen this year and....

Handcuffs, their favorite pastime

Back in their quarters after having some more semi-romantic moments, Maxie and Nathan are back on the mission. Operation GTFO is underway as they try to figure out someway to pick the lock on the handcuffs. Adorably they take brief breaks to reminicse about their time handcuffed together (they both enjoyed it thoroughly) and Maxie continues to apoligize about all her "listening to Levi". Eventually West finds a paperclip and with some Mcgyver like manuevering gets a hold of the clip and they proceed to work on the cuffs. He of course unlocks hers, but only right before one of maybe-daddy's goons comes in to see what all the commotion is about. They convince him everything is kosher and as he leaves we find out that the random gym equipment in the room, that I complained about yesterday, is actually there on purpose. Nate kicks one of the little weights towards the door effectively propping it open. Maxie attempts to free him, but no dice. She decides that it's time for her turn to be the hero and get help and save the 4 of them. I was really hoping that instead of just moony eyes Nate would kiss her before she left, but alas le sigh, he does not. It's ok though, I am prepared to wait until she figures herself out so they can have a healthy, beautiful relationship....

UGH, i was so looking forward to episode 8! Writers, don't pull a #Julexis and make me wait forever and a day for more PC HEAT.
