I was going to wait until tomorrow to post about today's episode, but the amount of #JulexisFam on today's +General Hospital made it impossible to ignore. So please forgive the ghetto screenshots and let's dive in shall we?
Three Generations of #JulexisFam bringing the #adorbz to PC |
#Hugs |
Gramps and DannyBoy |
We open up at Sam's apartment for some #JulexisFam bonding. Yes, I have decided we can't call it #JeromeFamily bonding because you know... Ava and Kiki won't be there. Thoughts? Anyhow. Lucas is trying to win his way back in to my heart by being an incredibly adorable uncle/brother. He is showing DannyBoy to throw a football, and there is a moment where he is trying to educate Sam on the +Seattle Seahawks It's so good. Anyhow, Pops shows up and it gets crazy adorable. Julian tells his kiddos that he wants to have a family dinner so he can tell them some big news. The adorableness continues as they try to get it out
of him, but he won't budge. He tells the kids to bring dates because #FamilyBonding, and dinner will be at the gallery (really? the gallery? ok Jules.... whatever you say...) After daddio leaves the kids discuss how far Julian has come in the past few months, and try to figure out what the news could be (the whole time poor lil' DannyBoy is CRASHING OUT #adorbz).
let's gossip shall we? |
Back at hospital it is apparently still the day after the #NursesBall (time apparently stands still at the Nurses Station) and Silas is super not happy about being at work. But then again, would you be if your hot girlfriend and amazing future stepson were at home waiting for you? Our favorite nurse Felix comes bearing flowers, and awesome nicknames, for Silas. Felix, lover of all things gossip, wants to know who there from and when McSullen (McMeanie if your nasty) plays that he doesn't care Felix reads the card. Turns out we're in for a bit of mystery and intrigue as the card is from "Me"... whoever that is. I think I know who it is, I hope we're on the same page (It's totally Nina #callingit). But of course, Silas and everyone else thinks its Sam - because that's the obvious answer. Silas races home (Sam's home) to his hot girlfriend (again, wouldn't you?) But she totally didn't send the flowers. They make out anyway because of reasons, and then they have to get ready for the impending #FamilyJulian dinner.
Wow, don't they look... romantic? Nope. But yay for them |
It's location swap as Lucas is now at the hospital to lock in his date for the family dinner. By this point in the episode I am totally #TeamLucas, so when he asks Felix out I am totally rooting for him. Granted I totally understand when Felix initially rebuffs him, because I still feel for Brad, and Lucas wasn't totally awesome the night of the Nurses Ball with the whole lying about dating Felix to get Brad to back off and what not.... Anyhow, enough with my Lucas beef, he is trying to convince Felix his date request is for real, and he wants to apologize and make up for it by taking Felix out on a real date... to a family dinner. okayyyyyy. But it's super cute and yay for them.
Hey.. you're totally crazy! |
Completely missing the phone call about the family dinner is Alexis, who is back at the Lake House with Fluke. Fluke straight up tells Alexis he is there to kill her, but since Alexis doesn't realize he is actually batshit crazy and thinks he is joking. Fluke pretends to bond with Alexis over her Julian problem (wanting him to leave the #MobLife), which begs the question - who taught Sonny and Alexis who to confide in? And also.... WHO IS THIS GUY?? Luke is trustworthy, sure a criminal, but totally had the back of Natasha and Sonny for so many years I just need to know where we are going with this whole Fluke thing. I just can't believe that it is Luke doing all this. Fluke is getting ready to shoot Alexis when TJ shows up to accidentally foil his plans. Alexis is apparently over him trying to sleep with Molly and is super happy for him and his new car. She goes to call Molly ( who is MIA "studying") when she realizes she missed a call from her LOVER/Soul Mate and runs off leaving TJ and Luke in the living room. Fluke is his new standard of creepy and later when Fluke leaves TJ asks if Luke is a good guy... because he is totally acting creepy. I really hope this is getting the wheels in Alexis's mind turning, but let's be honest she has a family dinner to get ready for so..... not so much.
Back at the gallery Julian has switched into #MobMode and walks in right as Sean is deciding whether or not to reveal Sonny's plans to Jordan. #spoileralert he doesn't. He leaves, and then Julian drops the bomb that he quit the mob earlier and isn't going to the drug exchange later. He goes on about he realized what's important (family). Jordan is understandably confused because she doesn't know who the boss is now. He doesn't tell her it's Fluke because #plotdevice and then warns her to be careful when she does meet the new boss. She says he can't be that bad, because #Bossman let Julian go.... #foreshadow
Over at the Corinthos Coffee offices (formerly the office of the paper, the magazine, and all the other businesses that aren't mentioned much anymore) Duke feels the need to tell Sonny about Sean and his Jordan connection, and that he might spill the beans. Before Sonny can lose his marbles Sean shows up and we know that he didn't actually give Jordan the heads up (it was happening in scenes I am starting to care about, but not enough to blog about them). Things are bound to get more dramatic but the #braintrust didn't actually do anything exciting today.
PREVIEWS
The return of Detective Dreamy, Franco and Carly go to visit the hacker - and are thusly probably in Portland, Lulu stumbles upon Fluke in the park (so long since we went to the park), Jordan meets the drug traffickers, the return of the Haunted Star, and the long awaited Jerome Family Dinner (with a mystery gun)
