I am in a BLT/Booze hangover after dealing with last night's #DaytimeEmmy NIGHTMARE. Today's #GH was the perfect cure.

Well... It may have been a while since I have done this.... Ok a LONG WHILE. I could apologize or tell you what was up, but now we've all been through trauma together - and so we're bonded despite my lack of updates. The trauma of course was #DaytimeEmmys train wreck and of course the snub for all things +General Hospital . But like Brook-lynn, @myjasonthompson will always be a winner in our hearts. Now let's recoup from the trauma and dive in to Monday's episode together shall we?

Only crazy people play with the hair like this...

A quite a bit of ground work was laid on this fine Monday episode. All over down building blocks for stories that were just getting started, and stepping stones in stories that are chugging right along were being laid down for our enjoyment. First and foremost CrayCray Nina is taking off like a rocket! Well, a rocket for us, but apparently this crazy train has been chugging along for quite some time. Just in case you weren't sure of this fact the made us watch the "flashback" scene, where we find out that Nina destroyed Silas's apartment, again. Even worse - THE NURSE IS TOTALLY IN ON IT!!! #shocker . Turns out the nurse is also a little Kookoo for Cocoa Puffs and the spent the entire episode writing out a list of who was going to be the subject of Nina's slow burn revenge. I generally wouldn't be worried because lord knows Sam can take care of herself, and I am sure Silas too, but it appears Kiki might also be in the crosshairs!!! NOoooooo! I believe Franco will save her though.. if it comes to that.

The new Odd Couple

Speaking of Franco - that dude unpacked WICKED fast over the weekend, or you know the few hours Carly was over at Sonny's. Anyhow, in the freshly cleaned up apartment we find that Franco got stuck with babysitting duties. As a result we got a new segment called "the Joce/Franco comedy hour" where a bratty little kid (I'm sure I'll warm to her eventually) and an ex-psycho path banter at each other and fight over a cell phone. However, knowing the viewers could only take so much Franco enlists the help of Kiki in the babysitting duties. She helps by bringing a sticker book, and then by having a conversation that the kid should probably not be around for in the living room with Franco. Franco almost lets it slip as to why Ava is living over at Sonny's but that story isn't ready to be wrapped up so he covers poorly and Kiki peaces out. Not of course before we see that the seeds of doubt RE: Carly/Sonny bond have been planted in Franco's brain. They'll probably grow faster than his old tumor and jealous chaos will ensue. I have grown to love Franco (save for the last couple "whiney weeks") and would really like to see growth here as opposed to him following the latest trends and going crazy over something that is nothing... well.. almost nothing.

Pssh like that would take Carly down

"Almost Nothing" is over at Sonny's waiting for stupid Ava to show her face and tell her WHAT IS WHAT. Carly is a BAMF and makes sure that Ava knows that no one messes with her... Sonny. Of course Ava is cheap and accuses Carly of being jealous of her and having a thing for Sonny (plant those seeds writers!). Carly brushes that off like some stray dirt just in time for Sonny to arrive with a nutritious pizza dinner for Ava. I have always been #TEAMSoarly , I feel like they are the only 2 people who get each other, but since I know they can never actually BE together I can't wait to see how the writers allow Carly to stick it to Ava... because that is what MUST HAPPEN. After Carly runs home to put the brat to bed Sonny threatens Ava some more and then does his #sexySmirk and I laugh because I can't wait to see Ava fall.

Enjoy it while it lasts...

As she raced home I'm sure Carly passed by the park where SIAM is having a super romantic picnic dinner from some fancy restaurant in town we have never heard of before. They are talking about past and futures while drinking lots of wine. I really want to root for them, as long as the promise not to frequent any more parties in town as they seem to ruin everything. However, we know Crazy Face is working to break them apart and of course their evening is cut short due to her latest dastardly plan. Oh you see, she's fallen and she can't get up... #EYEROLL

BONDING!!

Meanwhile not to far from the park (I know this because of when Nikolas was shot in the loft many moons ago) Maxie and Lulu are rebuilding their friendship and talking about the result of the case and the men in Maxie's life. I love that they are bonding again, and Lulu really tries to drive home the fact that Maxie deserves to be with Georgie and that it's all gonna work out (as soon as +Bradford Anderson resigns for a guest stint to bring back the baby). Once the "serious" talk is out of the way it's on to talking about Sexy Pants and the world's most annoying Australian. Maxie has pros for both of them (although I believe nothing "pro" about Levi) but the more they talk the more Maxie starts to wonder how the judge figured out Nathan was lying....

#BATTLES

Which of course was the topic of discussion back at the courthouse. Fortunately there don't seem to be any other cases happening in town as West and Levi have the courtroom to themselves for their latest verbal spar. West knows the only other person who knew about the lie was Levi and calls that ginger out as a fink. Levi plays coy and continues to egg on Nathan as much as physically possible. However, in his bravado he mentions that Nate  has no  proof, which totally means there is some somewhere. I can't wait til he finds it and exposes the world's worst socceroo for the vile human being I believe him to be. Side note, for the first time in the history of West's presence I didn't want him to take of his shirt... Mainly because I still felt bad for Ryan... I hope this passes soon as that is truly one of my favorite parts of the show. #sorrynotsorry

Franco gets jealous, Nina acts her heart out, Patrick proves how smart he is (doctor's #FTW) and doesn't believe Nina, West confides in DaddyMac, Levi confesses something to Maxie, and oddly enough not for the 1st time in her pregnancy Nina reaches for a drink.
